The Ritenour “prize patrol” surprised four top Ritenour staff members on March 10 in their schools to announce that they’ve been selected as the 2025 top district employees: Ritenour Diamond Circle Teacher of the Year, Employee of the Year, Make A Difference Award honoree and First Class Teacher.
The Ritenour Board of Education re-elected Dr. Brad Thomas as president and re-elected Jennifer Lohnes as vice president at its April 10, 2025 meeting. Thomas is the Board’s longest-serving member and has been a Board Director for the past 25 years. Lohnes has been a board member since 2016.
Reagan Beverly, a Ritenour High School junior (class of 2026), was sworn in as the student representative on the Ritenour Board of Education at its regular business meeting on April 10, 2025.

The RHS Student Leadership group earned both the 2025 National Association of Student Councils’ Gold Council of Excellence Award and the Missouri Association of Student Councils (MASC) Honor Council Gold Award for their outstanding comprehensive program in promoting student-centered service activities that promote school spirit, service to the school community and beyond, student and teacher recognition and leadership training.

Ritenour High School’s journalism students shined with state accolades on March 26 at J-Day at the University of Missouri-Columbia with nine honors, including four prestigious 2025 All-Missouri awards by the Missouri Interscholastic Journalism Association.
